February 2012: Revive Turbo Charger Cleaning
Over the past few years, we have had many of our own customers &
customers of other garages, contact us with problems associated with
the Turbo Charger on their vehicle. The latest type of Turbo Charger
fitted to the modern motor vehicle is of the VVT type or as it is more
commonly known as: Variable Vane Turbo charger. This type of Turbo
Charger is more efficient & can be more critically controlled than the
old waste gate type Turbo Charger, but due to the very small internal
moving parts, are much more prone to failure due to excess build up
of soot deposits on it's internal mechanisms. The only real solution in
the past was A NEW REPLACEMENT TURBO CHARGER, that is until now!
We have just become stockist of the all new "Revive" Turbo Charger
cleaning system. This system was originally designed for use in the
aviation industry for cleaning jet aircraft turbines (see article below)
& is now available to authorised stockists in the motor industry. The
difference with the Revive system is that there is no need for any
costly, labour intensive dismantling & assembling charges, as the
cleaning takes place on the vehicle, saving you, the motorist £££££!
"Revive is a safe water based, non toxic and non flammable fluid, using
technology
developed and used for the cleaning and maintenance of
aviation jet
engines, power station turbines, large marine diesel engines
and now
automotive engines. The fluid is sprayed into the vehicle’s intake
system
before the turbo inlet whilst the engine is running. As the Revive
fluid passes
through the engine system it locks on to built up oily/carbon
deposits and
breaks away a surface layer. These tiny carbonised particles
are then
carried away out through the exhaust system, safely passing
through catalysts
and Diesel Particulate filters (DPF's)".
What do we charge for this service? Using
the Revive Turbo Charger
cleaning system costs just £79.99 plus vat
per vehicle. We think that
you will agree that this is service is a
lot more cost effective than a
replacement Turbo Charger. For more
information call now & ask Paul
or Charlie if this service will help to solve
your VVT Turbo problems?
